COMMISSIONED PORTRAITS: Animals and Homes
This page is a brief summery of commissioned work. As an artist I feel that doing something creative can’t always be for self-satisfaction, but can also be service oriented. When I am commissioned to do a portrait of a home or pet it becomes a way of preserving and honoring what is important to someone else, making me responsible to my client. This, I take very seriously. By doing the very best work I possibly can and using quality material my client has an original work of art that they can be proud of. I work from your photographs and having the best reference gives the best results.
Due to the variables that can be part of a customer’s request there is no viewable price list. These and other questions are available for answer upon request, so please don’t hesitate to ask.
ANIMALS: I love painting and drawing all animals, although HORSES and CANINES seem to be the most requested. There are special times when an owner’s image may also be included in the work so if desired please ask about this possibility.
HOMES: I have an interest in architecture and by painting and drawing home portraits I enjoy their designs and how they fit into the history of building. Some homes are rich in family history and by hiring me for a painting or drawing the owner is honoring and preserving that history for future generations.
